Public releases are scheduled in three month periods. The following road map serves as an indication of the potential release dates for certain functionality.

The road map is subject to change at any time as items move up or down in priority.

Build 201910 - November 2019

  • Release candidate ready end of October

Build 202002 (7364) - February 2020

  • Calculated Channels - Fully featured UI

  • Functionality - Ability to put a whole instrument into maintenance mode

  • Widgets - Added ability to define options e.g. plot colours, show or hide labels etc.

  • Widgets - Auto update of Historical Data Widget data if selected timespan includes the new data time

  • Dashboards - Ship base product with default dashboards containing a calibration widget, historical data table widget (for export) and the current ‘all channels’ dashboard widget

  • Drivers - GasCal remote ASCII screen support

  • Calibrations - Do not allow an instrument or channel to be deleted if it is part of a calibration sequence

  • Widgets - Check if a channel is used in a widget before allowing its deletion, better handling on a widget if its only channel is deleted

 

Build 202005 (7456) - May 2020

  • Actions - Stack sequencing

  • Widgets - Table, Multi Value and Single Value widget - Allow the substitution of values with text

  • UI - Improved Sorting and Filtering functionality

  • Widgets - Expand on Wind Rose to allow options and use of arrow indicators

  • Widgets - Wind Rose - allow the use of a background image e.g. map with the chart centered

  • Widgets - Current Data (Real Time) - show instrument identifier as part of the parameter

  • Widgets - Single Value - allow the setting and display of a label

  • Widgets - Current Data (Real Time) - allow the setting and display of a label

 

Build 202008 (7548) - August 2020

  • Actions - Action executer - add functionality to run 3rd party application on demand or when triggered

  • Manual - Context sensitive manual

  • User Interface - Add reminder to manually check for software updates if not connected to the internet.

  • Instruments - Smart detection for for vector channel candidates i.e. detecting a wind speed or direction channel and prompting the user for the need for vector averaging - useful for novice users

 

Build 202011 (7639) - November 2020

  • Widgets - Allow Parent-Child relationships for interactive and dependent widgets

  • Widgets - Allow the use of containers to group widgets on a dashboard

Build 202102 (7729) - February 2021

  • Licencing - Flexible, on-demand key based licencing for internet enabled hardware

  • Licencing - Licence server for non internet facing logger networks

 

Build 202105 (7821) - May 2021

  • Connectors - MQTT message support

  • Connector - File share

  • Connector - Cloud provider file repository (Google Drive, Azure, AWS S3)

 

Build 202108 (7913) - August 2021

  • Calculated Channels - Calculation templates

  • Calculated Channels - Calculations repository

  • Calibrations - Nested calibrations

Backlog (in no particular order)

 

  • Actions - Data export

  • Instruments - Replace instrument - Add feature / work-flow to replace instrument and maintain channel integrity (instrument channels)

  • Instruments - Remote control of non-Ecotech instruments

  • Drivers - Protocols - Horiba industry standard protocol

  • Drivers - Support for calibrations in ASCII drivers generated using the Instrument Driver Development Kit

  • Drivers - Support for retrieving, editing and loading instrument configuration data e.g. GasCal points setup, 01dB Cube/Duo/Fusion setup

  • Functionality - Auto updates - Server to check for an update if connected to the internet and inform the user if one is available

  • Functionality - Allow true Guest mode if enabled - anonymous guests are free to view dashboards but are locked out of the rest of the system

  • Functionality - Add support for software key based licencing
